The time estimates for parties to present their evidence and cross-examine the witnesses already exceeds the time allocated for the event and it has been agreed that the Inquiry will extend to a 7th day, which will be 12th May.
Sitting times for the Inquiry will be 10.00am to 17.00pm, with breaks for lunch and mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
It is expected that the main issues in this case are the effects of the development on:
(i) highway safety
(ii) the living conditions of nearby residents
(iii) the rural character of the area and
how the location relates to adopted planning policy on the siting of waste facilities.
