Recent planning pressures in this area has highlighted the very real need to document the wildlife that is present in our Parishes.
This Saturday March 11th - keep your eyes peeled for wildlife in our Parish and report any sightings to Jill: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01403 700395 or Mike: email@example.com or 07949 909351
Three weeks ago there were the following sightings;
- A Grey wagtail scrabbling about on the edge of the iced up pond which, unlike their relative the Pied Wagtail, are grey above and warm yellow below
- A Blackcap singing in the willow; a bird which used to migrate away from the English winter but now stays here.
- A Red Kite flying overhead.
Apologies for unlikely animals in the picture!
