Farm Fuel Ltd of Crouchland Farm, Plaistow Road, Kirdford, Billingshurst, RH14 0LE is applying for a licence to use Unit 0, Rosier Business Park, Billingshurst RH14 9DE as an operating centre for 8 goods vehicles and 12 trailers. Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Hillcrest House, 386 Harehills Lane, Leeds, LS9 6NF stating their reasons within 21 days of this notice.

Please write to the Traffic Commissioners if you live anywhere around Billingshurst and are concerned at the prospect of multiple Farm Fuels tankers travelling from the east of Billingshurst to Plaistow/Kirdford every day, to service one of the largest gas refineries in Europe, that has had it's operation of exporting gas deemed unlawful (and yet continues to operate) - and doesn't even have the required planning permissions for the built infrastructure. Ensure that you state your concerns about operating hours; how these will be enforced and the routes used.

Please also note that FARM FUELS LTD has been called back for a second (reconvened) Traffic Commissioners PUBLIC INQUIRY following an initial inquiry on January 12th 2016. Farm Fuels Ltd, wholly owned by Crouchland Biogas Ltd, was called to a Public Inquiry by the Transport Commissioner in Eastbourne - for suspected breaches to its Operator’s licence; effectively using Crouchland Farm as an unauthorised Operating Centre. Following further investigations and evidence, the Traffic Commissioner has stated that the public inquiry will be reconvened at 10am, on tuesday 17th May 2016 at Ivy House, 3 Ivy Terrace, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN21 4QT.
