Pollution update;

A huge dam has been constructed to try and stop the black digestate spreading beyond Foxbridge Lane. All aquatic life has been killed in the mile stretch. Plaistow farmer has had to remove his livestock from 50 acres of his fields. The polluted waterways will need to be dug and cleared out completely and tankered away.

The Environment Agency have set up an Incident Room opposite the entrance to Crouchland Farm if you wish to find out more.

BBC Breakfast were due to run the story this morning, but keep an eye on the lunchtime and BBC South Tonight. Delays due to the need to get comments from various bodies.
